i'm matt krueger — a photographer, set builder, and creative producer working out of melbourne.

my background is a bit unusual for this industry. i'm a qualified carpenter, which means when a shoot calls for a custom set, prop, or environment — i don't outsource it. i build it myself. that hands-on approach carries through everything i do: i'm not precious about getting my hands dirty, i solve problems fast on set, and i deliver work that's ready to go live.

before going solo, i cut my teeth assisting across campaigns for country road, just jeans, harper's bazaar, vogue, mecca, sephora, and others — learning the production standards that now run through everything i shoot.

i've worked with brands like pearler, tiny discos, solid state, odesse, kester black, cotton on, boring with you, aleo, and many others — shooting everything from product campaigns and lookbooks to beauty editorials and branded content.
